About Janet
I have BSc Hons Botany degree from Manchester University. After I worked for 12 years at the Oxford Hospitals in Haematology and Blood Transfusion as a medical scientific officer, specialising in blood coagulation at the Oxford Haemophilia Centre, Churchill Hospital. I have always had an interest in health and natural medicine. Inspired by the French herbalist Maurice Mességué, I studied herbalism with the School of Phytotherapy, taught by Hein Zelstra, Simon Mills and Christopher Hedley, I qualified as a herbalist in 1996 and have been in full-time practice since then.
I am a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists and also a qualified Bowen Technique therapist since 2004. I studied at the European College of Bowen Studies with Julian Baker.
